The City of Scottsdale's Transportation Planning group has a three-month internship that starts as soon as possible, and lasts until April 29, 2016. They hope to have the intern start in a couple of weeks.

This is a paid internship (around $15) in which a student may work up to 20 hours/week. This person needs to be at a junior or senior level or a graduate student, a self-starter, good with Excel and have familiarity with ArcGIS desktop. The first project is analyzing transit ridership statistics and trends; and there is lots of GIS work to be done, too!

Hi all,

I am ASU's coordinator for the Network for European and United States Regional and Urban Studies (NEURUS). For those of you who are unfamiliar, the NEURUS program is an opportunity for all SGSUP students to conduct fieldwork pertaining to any urban studies/planning issue in Europe this fall.

In short, the program is a collaboration among five universities in the US (ASU, U of FL, UC Irvine, and UIUC) and three in Europe (Humboldt U, U of Groningen, and Vienna U). The organization runs a student research exchange program, which allows for American students to spend the fall semester
